Lee Uhn, Korean star of Coffee Prince Dies in an accident

Lee Uhn, a South Korean actor who acted as Hwang Min Yeop in the popular Korean TV soap Coffee Prince has died from a motorcycle accident. The news has shocked a lot of Korean drama fans in Korea and worldwide.

Lee Un, the 27 year old model who recently turned into an actor was born by the name of Park Sang-Min. He was on his way home following the wrap party for KBS's Strongest Chil Woo early in the morning of August 21, 2008. He was riding a motorcycle and ran into the guardrail of the overpass, and is said to have died almost immediately.

Lee Eon had got his start in modeling but then got a part in Coffee Prince. He was the goofy one who liked Go Eun Chan’s (Yoon Eun Hye) sister. He had also acted in "When spring comes" (2007), "Who are You?" (2008), and "Strongest Chil Woo" (2008).

The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince (커피프린스 1호점, or Coffee Prince) is a South Korean romantic comedy drama that aired on July 2, 2007 in South Korea. It stars popular actress Yoon Eun Hye from Goong or Princess Hours, Gong Yoo from One Fine Day, Lee Sun Gyun from White Tower and Chae Jung Ahn. The drama contains vaguely homosexual elements.

May his soul rest in peace.

Sinouk Coffee - Café Gourmet Lao

I bought this Sinouk Pure Arabica Instant Coffee from THAIFEX - World of Food Asia 2008, Bangkok. I was just bored of Nescafé Gold and needed a change of taste. This one tastes different and even better and is made in Vientiane, Laos PDR. I bought this coffee for 200 Baht after they offered a free tasting glass of the Sinouk fresh ground coffee at the booth which tasted amazing.

On the front cover (pictured above) the print says Freeze-Dried Instant Coffee, Café Gourmet Lao, Sinouk Gold, Pure Arabica.

On the back cover (pictured above) it says Sinouk Café Lao with the address and a lot of text in the Laos language. It also has a picture of Mr. Sinouk Sisombat, President of the Lao Coffee Association with his quote "Do share my passion for quality coffee". From his name he appears to be the owner of Sinouk Coffee which is a competitor to "Dao Heuang Lao Coffee" another major coffee brand from Laos.

Since I tasted too much coffee that day I had to skip the Dao Huang Lao Coffee booth, and just found out recently that this brand seems more popular!

UFC Mocha Arabica Coffee

Just found this new canned coffee at 7-Eleven and grabbed one. I just cannot resist all the fruit juices by UFC, so thought of giving a shot at their coffee and see how it tastes.

I haven't been drinking much canned coffee for a while, maybe because I've heard people ask the following questions about coffee:

Can coffee cause headache?
Can coffee cause acne?
Can coffee help you lose weight?
Can coffee help you gain weight?
Can coffee make you fat?
Can coffee make you tired?
Can coffee make you sleepy?
Can coffee stunt growth?

and another dreaded one........... Can coffee kill you!?

Dim Sum and some ancient ice coffee

Tuesday evening stopped by at a restaurant opposite Seri Center on SriNakarin Road. Had to park the car behind the restaurant and enter from the back door! Anyway, ordered lots of Dim Sum and had some ancient ice coffee (kafe boran) which wasn't that good, just mediocre. The dim sum were really delicious costing 30 Baht each set. Also ate a plate of Khao Moo Daeng (Red pork rice). Missed the desert though, as I ate so much that it got me full for the next 5 hours or so.

A-Ha Coffee with a new look

A-Ha coffee has got a new outfit now, looks even better! The gold color has been replaced by yellow and the roasted coffee beans appear at the top of the package. The wordings appear clearer and the overall design is more eye-catching.

A-Ha Coffee, that's the way (aha aha) I like it

Been drinking this A-Ha brand coffee this entire week! It's a cappuccino + chocolate ready to drink cold coffee (200ml) which is quite tasty, I used to drink it months ago and stopped, and now I'm back at it once again. It's available at every 7-Eleven store! This one tastes unique.
Somebody please take them off the shelves so that I stop buying them, they're just irresistible!
