Miss International Queen 2010 - Winner: Mini Han Korea

Korean lady-boy Miss Mini Han has been crowned Miss International Queen 2010 at the 6th Miss International Queen 2010 contest that took place on Nov 19, 2010 at the Tiffany Show, Pattaya Thailand.

The winner takes the crown, sash, and US 10,000, along with many gifts from sponsors.

The 1st runner up was Miss Ami Takeuchi from Japan, who received US 2,000

The 2nd runner up prize went to Miss Stasha Sanchez from USA, who received US 1,500.

Other prizes include:

- Best Evening Dress: Nong Mix (Nonlada Thamthanakorn)
- Best Talent: Melania from Columbia

Update May 8, 2010: Nalada Thamthanakorn wins Miss Tiffany's Universe 2010

Miss Tiffany's Universe Contest 2010 is organized between April and May 2010. The finals will be broadcast live on Thai TV Channel 7, on 7th May, 2010 from 22.30 - 00.30 hrs.




Miss Tiffany’s Universe 2010 beauty pageant earlier held a night event called "The Miss Unlimited Sexy Star" pageant. Competitors paraded around the stage modelling custom made bikinis provided by the Phuket Mermaids.

Last year's Miss Tiffany's Universe 2009 winner was Sorawee Nattee (Nong Jazz), who became Thailand's most beautiful kathoey or ladyboy.

The winner of Miss Tiffany's Universe 2008 was Kangsadal Wongdusadeekul (Nong Noeng), winning a Honda Jazz car, 100,000 Baht in cash, a crown, a trophy & sash, and gift sets from sponsors.

The winner of Miss Tiffany's Universe 2007 was Thanyarasmi Siraphatphakorn (Nong Film), a 21 year old Kasetsart University student, winning a cash prize of 2,900 US Dollars and a brand new Mercedez Benz.

Nalada Thamthanakorn wins Miss Tiffany's Universe 2010 crown

Nalada Thamthanakorn (Thai: ณลดา ธรรมธนาคร น้องมิค) is the winner of the 13th Miss Tiffany's Universe 2010, Thailand's most popular transsexual beauty pageant. The 19 year old transvestite was named Thailand's most beautiful katoey (ladyboy or woman-of-the-2nd-category) late Friday night in a glamorous event that was telecast live on Thai TV Channel 7 from Tiffany's Show Theater in Pattaya, Thailand's most popular tourist destination.

(S)he received 100,000 baht cash and a new Honda Jazz car. Nong Mick was contestant No. 26 - the same number that won last year's Miss Tiffany Universe 2009!

Pregnant man Beattie delivers second child

Pregnant man Thomas Beattie - the transgender man born a woman - has given birth to his second child, this time a baby boy.



The American transsexual, born Tracey Lagondino, 35, became the first pregnant man when he had Susan last July.



Now bearded Beatie and wife Nancy, 46, are parents again.

Hospital sources told US TV channel ABC that it was a "natural childbirth".



Beattie had sex swap op, including breast removal, in his 20s then married Nancy - but kept his ovaries.

She was named Thailand's most beautiful katoey (ladyboy or woman-of-the-2nd-category) late Friday night in a glamorous event that was telecast live on Thai TV Channel 7 from Tiffany's Show Theater in Pattaya, Thailand's most popular tourist destination.

Sorrawee (Nong Jazz) contestant No. 26 is a 20 year old student from Ratchabhat Suan Sunauta University. She receives a Honda Jazz car, 100,000 Baht in cash, a crown, a trophy & sash, and gift sets from sponsors. She also received a 20,000 Baht prize for winning the Most Beautiful Costume category.



This year almost all the winners were students. The first runner up was Wirithorn Norapatpimol (Nong Bell), a 20 year old a student from North Chiang Mai University. She won 80,000 Baht, a sash and a trophy. She also won the title of Miss Unlimited Sexy Star, sponsored by Central Festival Pattaya Beach, and received 10,000 Baht for having the best looking swim suit.

The second runner up was Napusawan Chonakorn (Nong Nut), 21, who received 50,000 Baht, a sash and a trophy and 20,000 Baht for winning the Most Beautiful Complexion title - beautiful skin.

The mass media popular vote went to contestant no. 16, Lerluk Lertworapong (Nong Nat), an 18 year old student from Thaimitr Wittayalai. She received 10,000 Baht. Miss Cordiality went to Preerada Maneeket (Nong Aui).

Miss Tiffany’s Universe Contest 2009 is scheduled to be organized during 10th - 15th May 2009. The 1st round screening will take place at Tiffany's Theater on Sunday, 10th May 2009 where 30 most beautiful contestants will be chosen for the final contest which will be broadcast live on Thai TV Channel 7, on 15th May, 2009 from 22.30 - 00.30 hrs.



Last year's Miss Tiffany's Universe 2008 winner was Kangsadal Wongdusadeekul (Nong Noeng), who became Thailand's most beautiful kathoey or ladyboy.

The winner of Miss Tiffany's Universe 2007 was Thanyarasmi Siraphatphakorn (Nong Film), a 21 year old Kasetsart University student, winning a cash prize of 2,900 US Dollars and a brand new Mercedez Benz.

To apply contestants must be transvestites of Thai nationality, aged between 18 and 26 years. For the final round contest "Miss Congeniality", "Miss Best Costume", "Miss Photogenic" will be chosen among the 30 contestants, along with Miss Tiffany's Universe 2009, first and second runner up respectively. The winner of Miss Tiffany Universe 2009 will receive 100,000 Baht in cash, a Honda Jazz car, crown, trophy & sash, and gift set from sponsors.

Thomas Beattie pregnant again

UPDATE - June 10, 2009: Thomas Beattie gives birth to a baby boy

Thomas Beattie, the transgender man dubbed as "The Pregnant Man" who made worldwide headlines when he gave birth to a baby girl named Susan Juliette Beatie on June 29 this year, is again expecting a second child.



The 34 year-old Beatie, born Tracy Lagondino, who transitioned from female to male and decided not to remove his reproductive organs during the procedure 10 years ago, is in his first trimester.



"I feel good," Beatie told Walters. The new baby is due on June 12, 2009.

Sporting a light beard, Beatie told Walters he did not go back on the male hormone testosterone after Susan's birth because he and his wife Nancy wanted to have another baby.

Beatie, who begin a lesbian relationship with Nancy when he was 24, had sex reassignment surgery in 2002. The couple were legally married in 2003 and decided to start a family. Beatie first became pregnant since Nancy, who'd had a hysterectomy, could no longer have children.

Miss International Queen 2008 postponed

The 5th annual Miss International Queen 2008 beauty pageant to be held in Pattaya is being postponed until further notice.



Tiffany's Show Pattaya, the organizers of the beauty pageant for transsexuals, had to take this painful decision due to the recent political instability and unrest in Thailand, which has seen a state of emergency been applied. Despite the trouble free and safe environment within Thailand, several Europeans and Asian countries have advised their citizens not to travel to Thailand through “travel warnings”, which has jeopardized the participation of some contestants.

Miss International Queen Pageant is produced and organized by Tiffany's Show Pattaya Co., Ltd., the world's largest transvestite/transgender cabaret show and supported by the Tourism Authority of Thailand.

The event was held in Pattaya last year between 5th - 10th November 2007 in which Tanyarat Jirapatpakon "Nong Film" was crowned Miss International Queen 2007.

Pregnant man Thomas Beatie gives birth to a baby girl

Thomas Beattie, who was born a woman but after surgery and hormone treatment lives as a man, has given birth to a girl at an Oregon hospital, People magazine reported on Thursday.



Beatie, 34, who kept female reproductive organs when he legally became a man 10 years ago, confirmed the birth to the magazine.

The baby, conceived through artificial insemination using donor sperm and Beatie's own eggs, was born on June 29 and Beatie and the baby are "healthy and doing well," People reported.

"The only thing different about me is that I can't breast-feed my baby. But a lot of mothers don't," People quoted Beatie as saying. He has had his breasts surgically removed.

He told the magazine that contrary to published reports, the baby was not delivered by Caesarean section, but no other details about the birth were given.

The thinly bearded Beatie told "The Oprah Winfrey Show" in April he began his sexual transformation about 10 years ago when he began taking testosterone treatment and had surgery to remove mammary glands and flatten his chest.

Upon deciding to have a child about two years ago, he halted his bimonthly hormone injections and resumed menstruating.

Beatie's wife, Nancy, 46, whom he married five years ago, was unable to conceive because of a prior hysterectomy. Otherwise, he has said, "I wouldn't be doing this." His spouse has two grown daughters by a previous marriage.

She said on Oprah's show their parental roles would be fairly traditional despite his transgender status. "He's going to be the father, and I'm going to be the mother," she said.

The couple, who operate a T-shirt printing business in Bend, Oregon, are legally married and he is recognized under Oregon state law as a man.
