Karla Henry is Miss Earth 2008

Miss Philippines Karla Paula Henry was crowned Miss Earth 2008 held on November 9, 2008 at the Clark Expo Amphitheater in Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines.



The 8th edition of Miss Earth beauty pageant, was contested by 85 delegates from October 19, 2008 in the Philippines. Miss Earth is described as one of the three largest beauty pageants in the world in terms of the number of national-level competitions to participate in the world finals.





Henry had earlier won the Miss Earth Designers Award and Miss Photogenic Special Award.
