Thai Taekwondo fighter Buttree Puedpong or "Nong Song", lost to the experienced Jingyu Wu of China to win a silver medal for Thailand in their women's 49 kg division Taekwondo final of the 2008 Beijing Olympics on August 20, 2008.
Buttree, 18, a native of Samut Prakarn, is a 12th grade student and is the youngest of 2 siblings. She is a former world junior champion and also the SEA Games gold medalist.
What a thrilling match it was!
