Mother's Day in Thailand - August 12

In Thailand, National Mother's Day falls on the same day as the Queen's Birthday on August 12th of every year. Being the birth anniversary of Her Majesty The Queen Sirikit, it is marked as a National Holiday and thus schools, banks, government agencies, and offices remain closed throughout Thailand today.


The Queen's color is blue and so most of the people will be seen dressed in blue today.
