Somjit Jongjohor comfortably defeated Samir Mammadov of Azerbaijan during their Men's Flyweight (51 kg) Round of 16 boxing bout of the 2008 Beijing Olympics on August 16, 2008. Somjit, Thailand's medal hopeful won on points at 10-2.
