Federica Pellegrini wins women's 200m Freestyle gold with new WR

Federica Pellegrini of Italy sets a new World Record of 1:54.82 seconds to take the women's 200m Freestyle gold medal at the Beijing Olympic Games on Wednesday, August 13th, 2008, in the Water Cube.

Just two days after setting the world record in the Women's 200m Freestyle prelims, Pellegrini swam even faster to take the gold medal in Wednesday's final.

Sara Isakovic of Slovenia (1:54.97) finishing in second place, while China's Pang Jiaying (1:55.05) finished third.
