Kitajima Kosuke bags 2nd gold in men's 200m Breaststroke with new OR

Kitajima Kosuke of Japan set a new Olympic record time of 2:07.64 to win the men's 200m Breaststroke final at the National Aquatics Center, Thursday, August 14, 2008. The new fastest time comes a day after Kitajima broke the Olympic record in Wednesday's semifinal.

Kitajima had earlier won the gold medal in the men's 100m Breaststroke with a new world record on August 11, 2008.

Brenton Rickard of Australia won the silver in a time of 2:08.88, and Hugues Duboscq of France collected the bronze in a time of 2:08.94.
